Learn to make Waldorf inspired Doll - online course

With the purchase of this product, you will be granted access to the three doll-making classes, the cuddle doll, the traditional Waldorf doll (as taught at Waldorf Schools), and the Waldorf-inspired Ringalina doll. 

The online classes will allow you to work at your own pace, and in your own space. 

With adult guidance, this course could even be used in a homeschool setting, appropriate for 6th/7th grade students.

The Cuddle Waldorf-inspired Doll:

A Waldorf-inspired Cuddle Doll is a soft, handmade doll designed to encourage imaginative play and comfort for children. These dolls are characterized by their simple, minimalistic features, allowing children to project their emotions and creativity onto them.

Typically made from natural materials such as wool and cotton, Waldorf Cuddle Dolls have a warm and soothing feel. Their body is often made out of velour fabric which is stuffed gently (like a pillow). Sometimes the dolls are also called pillow dolls. Their gentle, nurturing appearance makes them perfect companions for babies and toddlers, promoting a sense of security and fostering a connection to natural, eco-friendly craftsmanship.

The traditional Waldorf Doll:

• needle felting face
• embroidering eyes and mouth
• body with pattern and sewing
• stuffing and assembling
• hair choices

• A solid internet connection to watch video content and other coursework.
• A desire to create a Waldorf-inspired Doll.
• A camera (optional) if you would like to share your progress.
• Doll-making supplies and tools
  
  

Materials needed to make the doll are not included and a list will be provided.
