Needle, Wool, and a Year of Christmas Cheer: Crafting Your Complete Nativity Set!
Hey there, fellow crafters! Imagine this – a year of creativity, laughter, and the gentle poke of a felting needle as we embark on a journey to needle-felt a complete Nativity scene. That's right, throughout 2025, we're diving into the enchanting world of needle felting, and by the end, you'll have your very own handmade Nativity scene. Let's unravel this magical adventure together!
12 Months, 12 Pieces: Your Woolly Nativity Journey
Starting in January, we'll kick off with the fluffiest member of the Nativity crew – the sheep! Each month, I'll guide you through the process of creating each piece, from the regal kings to the tender baby Jesus. Your Nativity scene will be a testament to your needle-felting journey.
In-Studio Felting Fun:
Now, let's talk logistics. We'll gather 24 times in the studio for 2-hour felting classes and create 12 pieces for the Nativity. Wednesdays (the exact dates tba) between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. During these sessions, we'll laugh, create, and share the joy of crafting together.
Are you worried about missing a class? Don't be! If life gets in the way, I've got you covered. I'll pack a kit for you, and you can catch up with the detailed online classes. Flexibility is the key to a stress-free crafting experience is important!
Cost, Materials, and Studio Time
The cost of this magical journey? A mere $65 per Nativity figure. This covers all your materials and 4 hours of studio time with yours truly. And guess what? You take home what you make – your crafted pieces will adorn your holiday festivities.
Craft, Create, and Cultivate Joy
Please Note: Enrollment is closed until further notice!
This past year has tested us in ways we couldn’t have anticipated. With my MS diagnosis and my husband’s health scares, including a recent arterial blockage, we’ve been forced to pause and reevaluate our priorities. These experiences have made it clear that health and family come first, and that’s where our focus needs to be for now.
As a result, I’ve made the difficult decision to step back from teaching new in-person classes. For everyone interested in joining next year, please know how much your enthusiasm means to me. I will continue offering online classes, and I hope they provide the joy and creativity you’re seeking in your needle felting journey. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting me through this season.
Together, we’ll keep weaving warmth and creativity into our lives, one felted piece at a time.
Best wishes, Annette
As we dive into this year-long adventure, I can't help but feel the excitement of the creative journey ahead.
