This pattern can be used in combination with the Ringalina Doll Course.
I have been using this pattern for over 30 years and adjust it depending on what I feel the doll needs. Sometimes I add a little more seam allowance or add a little length to the legs. A doll pattern in my eyes is a guide. Also, keep in mind that knit fabrics can vary and the outcome of using one fabric over another can make a difference.
Personally, I use DeWitte Engel cotton skin fabric, and Laib Yala wool skin fabric for my dolls, but there are many other doll skin suppliers available. I give more seam allowance to the woolskin as it is not as stretchy as the cotton fabrics tend to be.

The pieces should be loose fitting and easy to handle for a young child. Keep in mind those little hands are just getting started on fine motor skills. If you have trouble getting the right measurement, air on the side of caution and rather use a larger measurement over one that is too small. Also, do not forget to add a seam allowance when cutting your pattern out of fabric.
