Paint with Wool Workshop "Summer"
On the days listed in the drop-down menu, I will have an open studio and would love for you to stop by and join in the fun. I will teach you how to paint with wool and create your own art piece. You get to use the wool and tools I use.
I will have an example to look at and if you like to you can copy it. You can bring a picture of something you like and strive to copy it, or you can just let your inner voice guide you. It is a lot of fun and unlike paint, if you don't like something you can just take the unwanted color back off your painting.
If you already know which of the dates would work best for you I encourage you to reserve your spot here online or come into the shop. You can participate as space is available.
You are purchasing a spot at the table for the - in-studio "Paint with Wool" -workshop. Please choose from the drop-down menu which date and time are best for you.
You will create a wool painting that is somewhere between 8" x 12" and 11"x 15" in size. All materials are included. All tools will be provided.
You will be instructed on how to use the felting needle and manipulate the wool fiber to create a one of a kind painting.
Due to social distancing, there are only 3 spaces available per workshop. If you have a 3 person group that you would like to take the workshop with (and can't get a spot for all three) I am happy to set up a custom date with you.
The workshop is held at 110 E. King St., Edenton, NC 27932
Pictures are samples of what you could be making. Art by students who had their first wool painting adventure with me in California.
