You are signing up for the 2023 Nativity Scene Group 1 - Third & Fourth Tuesday every month from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Throughout 2023 we will create a Nativity Scene by manipulating wool fiber with a felting needle into various shapes (listed below).

This class is divided into 12 monthly segments. Every month you will be instructed to create another piece to add to your nativity scene.

By December 2023 you will have a complete needle-felted Nativity scene including one of each:

  1. January - Sheep
  2. February - Donkey
  3. March - Ox
  4. April - Camel
  5. May - Shepherd
  6. June - King I
  7. July - King II
  8. August -King III
  9. September - Angel
  10. October - Joseph
  11. November - Mary
  12. December - Baby Jesus

All materials and tools are included and you take home what you made.

If you have to miss a class during the year I will certainly pack a kit. You might also be able to join another group to make up for what you missed. Of course, this depends on the individual situation.

Twice a month (third & fourth Tuesday) you will participate in a 2-hour in-studio felting class, between 2:30 pm -4:30 pm

During the week between classes, you will feel confident to work on your piece at home. However, 4 hours in studio class is usually enough time to finish the basics of the piece. The monthly cost is $63 = materials and 4 hours of studio time with me.

Please keep in mind that you are signing up for a one-year commitment. I will not hold anyone "hostage" and we all know life can change quickly... However, I plan and invest in materials based on the group number.

The workshop is held at 527 Yeopim Rd, Edenton, NC 27932

"Annette nearly 9 years ago you made a doll for a 5 yr old child I was adopting. You named her "Lilly" for us. She is a more traditional Waldorf doll with embroidered auburn hair. My daughter loves Lilly and has slept with her every night since she arrived for her first Christmas here."

"We aren't a wealthy family, however, our Ringalina doll Lisa Mollen has been a joy for our entire family for 6 1/2 years now. She has soothed my daughter through her daddy's multiple deployments, and been a constant companion for all of us! Poor Annette has repaired and recovered Lisa through her many love nibbles and accidents, not to mention all the replacement locks of love that have lovingly been restitched. The cost of these dolls pale in comparison to the love, artistry, craftsmanship and friendship that goes into them. I wouldn't want to envision my daughters childhood, escapades and adventures without Lisa and now Elle! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Best Elf Ever!”
