However, if you find yourself without a seat but really want to join us I am offering the same class on the third and fourth Tuesday (group 2). If you can't make the morning group work into your schedule, you can look into joining the evening Nativity class (group 3)

You are signing up for the 2022 Nativity Scene Group 1 - First and Second Tuesday every month from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Throughout 2022 we will create a Nativity Scene by manipulating wool fiber with a felting needle into various shapes (listed below).

This class is divided into 12 monthly segments. Every month you will be instructed to create one more piece to add to your nativity scene.

By December 2022 you will have a complete nativity scene including one of each:

  1. January - Sheep
  2. February - Ox (will be available to purchase in January)
  3. March - Donkey   (will be available to purchase in February)
  4. April - Camel  (will be available to purchase in March)
  5. May - Shepherd  (will be available to purchase in April)
  6. June - Angel  (will be available to purchase in May)
  7. July - King I  (will be available to purchase in June)
  8. August -King II  (will be available to purchase in July)
  9. September - King III  (will be available to purchase in August)
  10. October - Joseph  (will be available to purchase in September)
  11. November - Mary  (will be available to purchase in October)
  12. December - Baby Jesus  (will be available to purchase in November)

All materials and tools are included and you take home what you made.

If you have to miss a class during the year I will certainly pack a kit. You might also be able to join another group to accommodate your needs. Of course, this depends on the individual situation.

Twice a month you will take part in a 2-hour in-studio felting class (Groups 1 & 2 10:30 am - 12:30 pm or Group 3 between 6:30 pm -8:30 pm). During the time between classes, you will feel confident to work on your piece at home. However, 4 hours in studio class is usually enough time to finish your work. The monthly cost is $60 = materials and 4 hours of studio time with me.

The workshop is held at 405 S. Broad Street, Edenton, NC 27932

"Annette nearly 9 years ago you made a doll for a 5 yr old child I was adopting. You named her "Lilly" for us. She is a more traditional Waldorf doll with embroidered auburn hair. My daughter loves Lilly and has slept with her every night since she arrived for her first Christmas here."

"We aren't a wealthy family, however, our Ringalina doll Lisa Mollen has been a joy for our entire family for 6 1/2 years now. She has soothed my daughter through her daddy's multiple deployments, and been a constant companion for all of us! Poor Annette has repaired and recovered Lisa through her many love nibbles and accidents, not to mention all the replacement locks of love that have lovingly been restitched. The cost of these dolls pale in comparison to the love, artistry, craftsmanship and friendship that goes into them. I wouldn't want to envision my daughters childhood, escapades and adventures without Lisa and now Elle! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Best Elf Ever!”
